Learn More about IGCSE
For the IGCSE, students need to take five subjects in order to receive the IGCSE Certificate. With more than 70 subjects to choose from, students can select the ones that best match their strengths and interests. Since the level of difficulty varies from subject to subject, the IGCSE is divided into two levels, as follows:
takes less time and has fewer questions than the Extended level
Available grades: C, D, E, F, G
if you choose this level, you can receive higher grades than at the Core level
Available grades: A*, A, B, C, D, E
Note: For students taking IGCSE from 2017 onwards, an additional 3 AS/A-Level subjects are required in order to use the results for equivalency to Grade 12. These subjects must be taken in English.
